One of the most popular subjects for postcard collectors is the area of ships, steamers and ocean liners.

This ca. 1960 postcard features the MS Berlin a Norddeutscher-Lloyd Ocean Liner. One of the last traditional ocean liners to sail the Atlantic

This ship was originally built and named as the Gripsholm in 1924 for the Swedish American Line, she was renamed in 1954 and then spent the majority of her lifetime crossing between Bremerhaven, Germany and New York.
